AuthorEgo / Antigenic Technologies, Inc.
Prepared for review. This document is not yet the effective customer agreement or privacy notice.
1. Operator and scope
Antigenic Technologies, Inc. operates AuthorEgo. This proposed notice describes data used by the website and editorial workspace. Contact support@authorego.ai about privacy or data requests.
2. Information used by the service
We process account and contact details, organization membership and permissions, sign-in and service activity, editorial instructions, knowledge you supply, sources, drafts, revisions, and publication records. Optional features can process personal notes or audio you choose to provide. Connected publication settings can include credentials and destination details.
Stripe handles payment-card entry and processing. AuthorEgo receives billing identifiers, subscription and invoice information, and payment status rather than full payment-card numbers.
3. Why information is processed
We use this information to authenticate access, operate organizations and editorial workflows, prepare and revise articles, deliver authorized publications, administer plans and payments, provide support, prevent abuse, investigate errors, and meet legal obligations. Content supplied as editorial context may be sent to configured model and research providers to carry out your assignments.
4. Sharing and visibility
Service providers process information needed for hosting, storage, AI and research processing, payment, email, monitoring, and connected publishing. Organization content is available according to membership and permissions. Personal notes have separate sharing controls; sharing a version makes that version available for the chosen editorial context. Revoking access stops future context reads but does not undo articles already derived from it.
Publishing or sending a newsletter distributes content to your chosen external destination or recipients. We may also disclose information when required by law or reasonably necessary to address fraud, security incidents, or legal claims. Provider-specific retention and training terms must be confirmed for the configured production services before relying on them.
5. Cookies and browser storage
The application uses session cookies for authentication and browser storage for interface preferences such as the selected organization. The current draft marketing site does not include advertising trackers. Any additional production analytics or optional cookies require an updated notice and applicable consent controls before introduction.
6. Retention and deletion
We retain information as needed for active accounts, editorial work, evidence and recovery, billing, security, and legal obligations. Some source records have scheduled retention periods, while references from active work can keep them longer. Retention is not one universal deletion deadline.
Account or organization erasure is handled through an owner-verified support process. Removal from active product storage can differ from removal of encrypted backups, provider records, workflow records, and copies already sent to a publication or recipient. A shared user account may remain if it belongs to other organizations. We will explain relevant boundaries when handling a request.
7. Security and processing locations
We use access controls and technical safeguards appropriate to the service. No system can guarantee absolute security. Processing may occur in locations used by our hosting and service providers, including outside your country. Before launch, the production provider inventory and applicable international-transfer arrangements must be finalized.
8. Your choices and rights
You can manage information through available account and editorial controls and contact support@authorego.ai to request access, correction, export, deletion, or information about processing. Applicable rights depend on your location and circumstances. We may verify identity and organizational authority before fulfilling a request, and explain any lawful limitations.
9. Audience and updates
AuthorEgo is designed for professional editorial use and is not directed to children. Material changes to the effective privacy notice will be communicated with an updated date and, where appropriate, additional notice.
