Terms of service

1. Who operates AuthorEgo

AuthorEgo is a product and operating brand of Antigenic Technologies, Inc. (“we”, “us”). These proposed terms cover the AuthorEgo website and editorial workspace. Questions may be sent to support@authorego.ai.

2. Accounts and organizations

Use accurate account information and protect your sign-in access. If you act for an organization, you must have authority to do so. Organization owners control membership, permissions, and billing. Only use the service for lawful purposes and for material you have permission to provide.

3. Your content and our service

You retain your rights in the material you provide. You authorize us and the service providers needed to operate AuthorEgo to process that material to deliver, maintain, and protect the service. This permission does not transfer ownership of your source material to us.

To the extent we hold transferable rights in output prepared for you, those rights belong to you, subject to applicable law and third-party rights. AI output may not be unique or eligible for copyright protection. You remain responsible for checking permissions, attribution, and publication rights.

4. Editorial review and publication

AuthorEgo uses automated and AI-assisted research and drafting. Output may contain errors, unsupported claims, or incomplete context. Review the work and its supporting sources before approval or publication. Obtain qualified review for consequential advice.

You control the publication destinations and automation rules you configure. Approval, publishing an article, and sending a newsletter can have different consequences. Once content reaches an external publication or recipients, removing it from AuthorEgo does not recall those copies. We do not guarantee search rankings, audience growth, revenue, or error-free output.

5. Plans, trials, and payment

Paid plans are monthly subscriptions in USD. Listed prices include applicable taxes. Your checkout shows the total price and renewal terms before you authorize payment. A paid subscription renews until canceled. A trial, when offered, provides the stated allowance; saving a card for the trial does not by itself authorize a paid subscription.

Article, site, and active-Ego allowances are shared within your organization. Unused monthly article allowances do not roll over. Article work reserves allowance and completed work consumes it; eligible failed or canceled work releases its reservation. Extra work requires available plan capacity. There are no automatic overage charges.

Manage or cancel your subscription through the billing controls. Cancellation ordinarily takes effect at the end of the paid period. Subscription payments are nonrefundable except where required by law. Contact support about disputed or incorrect charges; mandatory consumer rights remain applicable. Custom managed editorial engagements require separate written scope and commercial terms.

6. Acceptable use and third-party services

Do not use AuthorEgo to infringe rights, impersonate others deceptively, distribute unlawful content, compromise systems, evade access controls, or interfere with service operation. We may restrict abusive use or suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect the service or comply with law.

Payments, model processing, email delivery, and connected publications involve third-party services. Their availability and their own applicable terms may affect your use. Only connect accounts you are authorized to control.

7. Availability and responsibility

We work to operate a useful service but do not promise uninterrupted availability. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the service is provided as available without warranties of fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or noninfringement. Nothing in these terms excludes liability or rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Any additional limitation of liability or dispute-resolution provision will be finalized before these terms become effective; no arbitration or choice-of-law provision is established by this draft.

8. Changes, closure, and contact

We will communicate material changes to effective terms and explain when they apply. Contact support@authorego.ai for account closure, content-export questions, billing assistance, or requests concerning these terms. Retention and deletion boundaries are described in the privacy notice.
